| It is not only important to buy the freshest flowers that you can find but it is equally important to cut the stems on arrival. When flowers travel to your door the stems seal up to retain water in the stem. When they arrive at your door the ends of the stems need to be cut and placed straight in to fresh water. Within an hour you will notice that your flowers will draw water into their stems and the flowers and stalks will be firmer than when they arrived at your door. It is important to try and change the water and recut the stems every day. Our fresh Australian flowers will last the longest in a cool environment out of direct sunlight or heat. As out petals begin to shrivel, pluck these birthing petals off the flower to allow the inner petals to blossom.
